Social Sound is a one-person wedding entertainment business in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use this site. Last updated 28 August 2026.
The enquiry form asks for your wedding date, your email address, what you're interested in, and optionally your name. That goes straight to info@socialsoundwpg.com so Jason can reply to you. It is delivered by FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service, and stored in Google Workspace.
It is used to answer your enquiry and to plan your event if you book. It is never sold, rented, or handed to anyone outside Social Sound and the musicians working on your specific wedding. There is no newsletter and no automated marketing sequence.
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages people find useful. It records approximate location (city level, from your IP address), the pages you view, roughly how far you scroll, and which buttons you tap. It does not record your name, your email, or anything you type into a form.
You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, or your browser's tracking-protection settings.
Enquiries are kept while a booking is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax and reference purposes. Analytics data is retained on Google's default schedule.
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email info@socialsoundwpg.com and it will be handled.
